Living a Thankful November
In this month of gratitude, let us count our blessings

What are your plans for the holidays? Taking a vacation somewhere tropical? If you’re going to be lounging on a beach, here are some of my tips for preparing for the excess that comes with the holiday season.
Start donating things now
It’s great to take a look around to assess what is important to you. Every year, I find that I accumulate so many things that I really don’t need. In our country, we are extremely blessed in this sense. There are things that can be provided to the less fortunate. Some of my favorite organizations to donate to are small & local, as they usually have a larger need and are willing to take items that larger organizations (like Big Brothers & Big Sisters) won’t!
Count your blessings
In life, it can be easy to get caught up in the stresses of today. However, we can practice a blessed lifestyle by counting the amazing blessings our God has bestowed upon us. For me, I have found that I feel most blessed when things aren’t going my way because I’m forced to realize how much I really have.
Prepare for the holiday rush
I am super excited to do a little popup boutique with my friend, Bekah – this Friday, the 13th. There will be vendors there selling arts & crafts. These are always my favorite places to get gifts because you can find local, hand-crafted products. They are usually held throughout the Christmas season, but I usually like to get an early start.
