Strength for Today
A devotional and prayer to receive God’s help…
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

God strengthens those who need it.
God wants us to have the courage, perseverance, and power to proceed…
He is on our side.
In the world, we often face tribulation. However, we can be of good cheer because Christ has overcome the world. The truth of Jesus’ love gives us the strength to endure to the end.
Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10
The LORD is a good God. He always brings us back into the light. The dark and sad thoughts that Satan uses to torture us pale in comparison to the glory of God.
If you’re in need of some divine strength, say this prayer out loud…
LORD, guide me to have the true strength only You provide. Thank You for sending Your Only Son Jesus Christ to die so that I could receive Your strengthening Spirit. Heavenly Father, please help me to expertly channel the energy, drive, and vision You’ve given me – so as to serve Your Kingdom here on earth.
O, God, help me to live above the circumstances of this world. Keep my heart pure so I remember that I am not here to please my flesh. Please help me, Heavenly Father, to know what love is – and to live a life of love once more.
Amen.
