Happy Valentine’s Day 2023

1 Corinthians 13

The Bible speaks a lot about love; it is written into the core of our faith. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, it says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

This passage shows us the power of love and how it should be an integral part of our lives. For us, it is not only a romantic emotion, but a spiritual principle. When we look to God, we can see a perfect example of what true love is like. He is patient, kind, compassionate, and forgiving. He never fails us and is always there when we need Him.

This Valentine’s Day, let us remember to share the love that God has given us. Let us reach out to those who we may not know, or who we may not understand. Let us be a reminder of God’s love to others. Let us show that love is stronger than any barrier, stronger than any hate, and stronger than any hurt. Let us show that love conquers all.
